Offering breathtaking Potomac River views and located just steps from the Mount Vernon multi-use trail, the all-new Muse condominium development has broken ground at 1201 North Royal Street in the Old Town North section of Alexandria, VA. Muse’s 73 luxury residences are scheduled to deliver in late 2021, with prices starting in the $800,000’s.

The Muse sales gallery will open in September directly across from the site at 1199 North Fairfax Street. It will feature model home details, a building scale model, and interactive digital displays.

Muse Condominium will be comprised of two distinctive buildings with glass, brick, and panel facades, connected to one another by an enclosed bridge above the Arts Walk. The smaller “jewel box” element will serve as the community’s “front door.” The Art League, headquartered in Alexandria’s Old Town, will occupy much of that building’s first floor adjoining the Arts Walk. The building’s second and third floors will be built out with three two-story loft residences.

The main tower will accommodate Muse’s condominium residences and impressive amenities. Residents at Muse will enjoy a relaxing penthouse lounge with an outdoor terrace providing sweeping water views. The top floor also will include an indoor-outdoor fitness center with a dedicated movement room for yoga and personal training sessions. The reception lobby, which will open to the Arts Walk, will provide a 24-hour staffed front desk, lobby lounge, and library. The residences at Muse will range in size from 920 to 2,800 SF, with many featuring dens, outdoor balconies, and terraces.

The Muse site is just steps from the City’s planned linear park providing direct paved pedestrian and bicycle access to the nearby Mount Vernon trail. Popular with runners, walkers, and cyclists, this 18-mile trail stretches from George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate to Theodore Roosevelt Island and connects with a number of other regional trails. 

Located just five miles from downtown Washington, DC, Old Town North is a dynamic, walkable neighborhood with an abundance of restaurants, shops, and cultural destinations just steps from the Potomac River. Muse Condominium is situated a half mile from the George Washington Memorial Parkway and a single stop light from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Its location is less than a mile from Virginia Tech’s new Innovation Campus as well as Amazon’s new HQ2, which is expected to employ more than 20,000 people.
