How Building Owners and Managers Can Confront COVID-19

As the COVID-19 pandemic spreads, many commercial buildings have shut down or are limiting entrants. Experts in Asia and elsewhere are offering guidance for minimizing the spread of COVID-19, flu, and other pathogens in non-residential buildings. In addition to cleaning, sanitizing, and increasing social distance, recommendations include increasing humidity, introducing more outdoor air, upgrading filters, and adding in-air disinfection measures.

LHB Communications contributed to Urban Land magazine’s article “Confronting COVID-19: Social Distancing, Buildings, and Lessons from Asia” (https://urbanland.uli.org/economy-markets-trends/confronting-covid-19-social-distancing-buildings-and-lessons-from-asia/.) The article includes guidance and perspectives from ULI experts in Asia and the US on best practices for managing buildings under the current uniquely challenging circumstances.
